Immerse yourself in one of the Samburu tribe’s most significant traditions, unchanged and un-photographed for centuries ‘The Singing Wells’ – This ritual is an astounding feat of teamwork as the Samburu warriors create a human chain to dig and reach for water in often very deep wells, filling up holders and troughs, chanting & singing in unison their individual family song, which leads the cattle to their family well and quite astoundingly, the cattle recognise their song. A spellbinding scene, ancient, almost sacred.
