Sheltered in a grove of palms on the shores of Lake Nzerakera, part of the Rufiji River system, Siwandu is perfectly situated to fully experience the breath-taking landscape and abundant wildlife of the Selous Game Reserve. The largest reserve in Africa and a World Heritage Site, the Selous’ riverine wilderness and contrasting habitats support diverse and prolific wildlife. Spaced along the lakeshore to ensure maximum privacy and every opportunity to soak up the sights and sounds from the decked verandas, the 13 spacious octagonal tents of canvas topped in thatch are luxurious and stylish. At Siwandu, you can immerse yourself in unspoilt nature with just the right amount of bush luxury.
