Situated near the base of Mount Kenya, Lewa Wilderness belongs to the Craig family, a family with a passion for wildlife, conservation and tourism that spans four generations. Will and Emma Craig run Lewa Wilderness – the lodge is their home and also one of Kenya’s oldest private safari lodges. Set in the 65,000-acre Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, visitors to the private protected wilderness can relax in the infinity pool, explore the extensive library and venture out to experience Lewa’s amazing wilderness and wildlife on foot with a Masai guide, on horseback, in a 4×4 vehicle or in a biplane with Will. The nine spacious rooms are individual thatched cottages decorated with antique and handmade furniture reflecting the property’s ranch homestead past.
