Designed, built and operated by owners Murray and Sophie Grant, the award winning El Karama eco-lodge sits on 14,000 acres of private wilderness on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River frequented by a vast array of wildlife – including four of the Big 5.
El Karama’s cottages and bandas exude a ‘home away from home’ feeling that resonates throughout the lodge with a focus on family, sustainability and home grown produce.Explore the wilderness on a guided bush walk, spend the evening under the African stars in a suspended star tent, relax by the eco swimming pool or tour the ranch, dairy and shamba where the majority or ingredients are sourced for the delicious farm to fork meals served at the lodge.
