Located in Karen on the outskirts of Nairobi, Giraffe Manor is set in 12 acres of private land within 140 acres of indigenous forest. This boutique hotel has twelve individually themed rooms and suites and is a memorable place to stay at the start or end of your safari. With its stately façade, elegant interior, verdant green gardens, sunny terraces and delightful courtyards, guests often remark that it is like walking into the film Out of Africa.
The highlight of the manor is the resident herd of endangered Rothschild giraffes that frequently poke their long necks through the windows and join guests for breakfast! Visit the orphaned elephants at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust or the historical Karen Blixen Museum; buy beautiful local crafts from nearby galleries; or relax in the gardens as the sun sets behind the Ngong Hills.
