Borana Lodge is located on the 35,000-acre privately-owned Borana ranch, home to the Dyer family for the last three generations. Each of the eight cottages at Borana offer stunning views overlooking the Lewa plains and panoramic views of Mount Kenya. Aside from embarking on game drives in search of the Big Five, Borana lodge offers alternative activities – such as horse riding and mountain biking – as well as spa treatments to pamper yourself after a ‘rough’ day out. Or you can try something adventurous like a night out fly-camping. The sumptuous meals use largely locally-sourced and organic ingredients and can be eaten on your personal veranda, in the lodge, in the bush or in a tree house.
