Lewa House

Hosted by owners Sophie and Calum Macfarlane, Lewa House is set on top of a hill in the heart of the 65,000-acre Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, with endless views of the Mathews Mountains to the north and of Mount Kenya to the south.

The conservancy is an award-winning model for community conservation and a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a spectacular density and diversity of wildlife. Lewa House is a fourth generation owned and managed bush home made up of the main house, four earth pod rooms constructed with sustainable materials and three thatched family cottages. Beautiful shaded gardens and a swimming pool overlook a waterhole providing some of the best game viewing in Lewa.
