Ol Pejeta Bush Camp
Ol Pejeta Bush Camp embodies the authentic safari experience: traditional yet very comfortable, guests often describe their stay here as “the real Africa”.
Alex and Diana welcome guests to their tranquil safari home, and offer an outstanding wildlife and guiding experience including walking, environmental knowledge, and insights into the work of this pioneering wildlife conservancy.
Ol Pejeta is 100,000 acres, and has the highest density of resident wildlife of anywhere in Kenya, with the biggest population of Black and White rhino in East Africa. This is big cat, elephant and buffalo territory, plus other rare and unusual species: Northern White rhino, Jackson’s hartebeest, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, and over 200 species of resident and migratory birds. Ol Pejeta also hosts Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a Jane Goodall project unique in Kenya.
Alex and Diana also offer climbs of Mt Kenya for 4 or 5 nights.
This is the kind of special wildlife conservation ‘in action’ that can be observed by guests staying at the traditional yet very comfortable Ol Pejeta Bush Camp.
