Located conveniently on a lush coffee plantation five minutes from Arusha Airport and half an hour from the centre of town, Arusha Coffee Lodge is a charming and comfortable place to stay at the start or end of your trip. The rooms are spacious and scattered throughout the beautiful grounds. Shop in the five African gourmet and retail outlets that make up Traders’ Walk; relax in Peaberries spa; enjoy an educational coffee tour in the grounds; or take a trip into the bustling town of Arusha. Eat outside in The Garden Buffet, in the main house in the Bacchus Restaurant, in the 3 Degrees South bistro cafe, or in the seclusion of your room.
Tarangire Treetops is located in a private conservancy on the edge of Tarangire National Park, with easy access to both the Park and the Conservancy. The area is known for its many elephant herds and giant Baobab trees. Centred around a main lodge – which itself encases a thousand-year-old baobab tree – Tarangire Treetops comprises 20 spacious en-suite rooms elevated above the ground with magnificent views over the tops of surrounding marula and baobab trees. With furnishings that create warmth and demonstrate a commitment to local craftsmanship, the ‘up-in-the-air’ experience is completed by an open-fronted room design affording views across the Tarangire plains from an expansive private balcony. After a breathtaking game drive in a park with an abundance of wildlife, enjoy a lantern-lit dinner in a traditional boma, or eat poolside by candlelight while wildlife drink at the water hole. Treetops is a very special place to stay.
Perched atop Ngorongoro’s crater rim, Ngorongoro Sopa lodge offers spectacular views across the crater floor. Built of a unique concept with round Masai style houses (manyattas) and conical roofs, furnished with rich African tapestry, you get the feel of really being in Africa at Ngorongoro Sopa lodge. The lodge features all themes of wild Africa, yet has all the modern amenities one could need on Safari – from wifi throughout the lodge, to central heating in the rooms for those chilly nights being at a high elevation brings with it.
In the Serengeti you will have prime position to view the Great Migration; recently coined as the 8th Wonder of the World. This is why there are two different options depending on the time of year you choose to go on safari.
Serengeti National Park located in north-west Tanzania provides the ultimate wildlife show and Serengeti Migration Camp is the embodiment of the camp experience. Located next to Grumeti River, the camp offers low-impact high-action game viewing in an untouched landscape. Hidden among the rocky outcrops, the camp is located at the starting point of the migration and comprises 20 luxurious elevated tents with spacious and richly-furnished bedrooms. Each of the tents is surrounded by its own 360° veranda deck, creating your own private sanctuary. The main tent has a split-level lounge, a swimming pool, a restaurant and platforms with wonderful views across the river to the rugged landscape beyond.
Located in the south central area of the spectacular Serengeti National Park, Serengeti Pioneer Camp is ideally situated to offer superlative access to the annual migration and the Big Five, with sweeping views overlooking Moru Kopjes, Lake Magadi and endless plains. Inspired by the mobile camps of the 1930s, the distinctive and luxurious eco-camp has a zero footprint and is built on a slope underneath a kopje. Comprising 12-tented en-suite accommodations, the tent interiors are designed to evoke the very best of the colonial era and are elegantly decorated with sumptuous fabrics and antique artefacts. Serengeti Pioneer Camp is a secluded and stylish camp, a fabulous base from which to explore the enthralling Serengeti wilderness.
Please note: Serengeti Balloon Safari is available from Migration Camp & Pioneer Camp – advance booking is required & extras are payable at time of booking
Depart camp and transfer to the airstrip where you will connect with a scheduled flight from the Serengeti to Arusha. Here you will be transferred by road to Kilimanjaro International airport (approximately 1.5 hours) in time for your International flight home.
