International Silver Eco-Rating for Cheli & Peacock Safaris

After well over a year’s work applying for our first international eco-rating with Sustainable Travel International (STI) we have received confirmation that we have been internationally certified, not only at Bronze entry level, but they have done an unprecedented direct bumping up directly to Silver category!

STI is accredited by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) whose core mission is to establish and manage global sustainable standards with the aim of increasing sustainable tourism knowledge and practices among public and private stakeholders.

STI certification is independently evaluated and audited, ensuring a high standard of quality and compliance. This certification is indeed a recognition of our high standards of operations and is valuable when applying for future certification and awards. It also validates what we do and cultivates confidence in our clients, agents and our friends in the industry assuring them of our commitment to environmental best practice, quality experience, and client service.
